How do you normally start your beats?
Well, I might listen to records beforehand, but I like to lay out something simple drum wise to get an approximation, then mix up the sample and adjust the drum pattern afterwards. -

What music player do you use on your desktop?
Daum Potplayer. Flexible, updated frequently, and low impact on processes. Lots of settings to mess with. I used everything under the sun. Winamp was the shit for most of my internet life, but decided to try something else, and Potplayer fit the bill pretty well.- Pug

Ya, there's always been dubplate cutters, and things like that, which are great for individual efforts. Still I am curious to see if they improve on existing technology. I guess we'll see what happens.
