The signups will be on January 8th at 12pm ET/EST, and end around 8pm ET, or until we have enough contestants (whichever comes first - depending on the theme).
Voting will be for one day, on January 9th, where the results will be posted the same day.

Voting

If you are competing, you will be able to vote but not for yourself. DO NOT TRY TO CHEAT! I will be watching for cheaters. This means you cannot sign up under different names or get your friends and family to sign up either. If you are caught cheating you could be banned.

Voting Criteria

You can use whatever sounds you want, samples, synths, just remember to read the rules for the rest of the restrictions. What the judges will be looking for is originality, creativity, mixing skills and overall dopeness!

Beats

All the beats will now be displayed in a random order and without any names. All you will see is: Beat #001, Beat #002, etc. This is so that there is no favoritism when voting.

When I saw a notification from you I didn't even have to open it to know what you said.

I think this was one I just decided to do, I can't remember what necessarily I was doing. Something more specific musically. But stylistically leaning on usual habits. Because. What else to make?

I was going to add extra parts and extra sections. Just ... yeh sigh

I think I can spot @Iron Keys these days. Another dope beat and one of my personal favourites.

I thought @Earsblower @Leopard Cohen deserved to be in contention.

@Jimothy Swingo can tell you have got rhythm but your beat was lacking in the dynamics and effects department. Did you have any filters/effects on your beat / instruments? With some oomph I think you have a decent beat there.

@Lightbackdrew your previous beats have always sounded rigid and quantised. Very little movement or rhythm but this was a great beat. Out of interest was it a break you used or your own drums? Nice one!

@InsideOutBeats *opens ideas folder and starts mixing potions*. You always have a theme and more often than not execute.the vision. Beat wasn't to my taste but huge appreciation for the hard work you put in!

@BizangoNigma - high quality beat, feels a little EDMish, but sounds to me like it would be a great 'battle beat' for dance battles. Try get your music to them if you're not already. Do you compose your whole beat or you use any samples etc?
