Came across this earlier today. I never got into the Reason ecosystem, but I did remember thinking ReWire was the most amazing thing ever. I'll give it a go and see how I can incorporate it into my current workflow of Logic and Maschine.

Yeah, I was surprised to see it was still around. Again, I never got into Reason (if I recall correctly they had an entirely closed eco-system for a long time).

Considering Logic can open REX Loops, I figured I'd download and tinker a bit to see if it can fill a gap between Maschine and Flex Time in Logic.

Didn't rewire get cancelled as a technology a few years back?

Absolutely dope it was tho... used it to program and steal drums from demo versions

I honestly couldn't tell you when it got cancelled. Back in the day I used it to link together Cubase SX3 and Acid Pro

Same, its how I did all my remixes back then, vocals in Acid for timestretching, and the music in Cubase, later in Reason

I did something similar. The stretching and sample stretching in Acid Pro was really good but I preferred Cubase for MIDI sequencing and FX
