i am prolly going to start a smash blog that will have info about music related stuff but also just random shit i find intesting. the most popular blog sites i see are wordpress and blogspot. Which one is better? I notice that the blogpsot ones seem a little less crowded and clustered and seem to have less advertisments but i dunno know if thats how they all are. The main things I am after are ease of use and the ability to host all types of media (youtube,mp3,pics..etc) ..any recomendations?

Im pretty sure Wordpress is where its at in comparison to blogspot. At least thats what I keep reading everywhere. I was gonna start my own as well and then just decided it was more cost efficient and easier (at least for me) to make my own website from scratch.

id go with blogspot simply based on ease of use.
Smith is right. Blogspot is def way easier. Wordpress requires more time to get going but apparently is more flexible.

blogspot it is ; now im I correct in saying that the google blogger is the same thing as blogpsot? because that is the first hit i get when i type blogspot into the search engine... basically what im asking is what is the site where i can create my blogspot account.

Wordpress has alot more features and is more advanced in my opinion and blogspot is more
user friendly I would say but less designes/layouts and addons (I have messed with both before).
With both you get "Yourname.blogspot/wordpress.com" like any other blog host.

Personally I like wordpress better because of their designs and features that look more
professional.

I've messed with both real quick and yes, Blogspot is the way to go for ease of use, however Wordpress can get advanced.

Yes, Blogspot is Google Blogger.
