i never liked seinfeld. i got friends that do that think im crazy for not likin it but i think the best sitcom put on tv was either fresh prince or the simpsons,we all got a special place in our hearts for the simpsons

I think saying 'this is TEH ultimate champion of all time and everything else is second rate' about anything is wack regardlessly, usually because i like more than one thing and cant decide on an absolute favorite. Sometimes with some things you have like a favorite, but like with music and movies and tv its hard for me to say 'best' this or that is the 'best'. Everything is different, so it would be easier to say something was better or the best in a certain context, get what im saying?
On topic though, Seinfeld was the absolute BOMB! I loved seinfeld. That shit made me cry with laughter at times. I love that goofy look he gets on his face, and the characters are awesome (kramer, george, elaine). I agree with other people above, simpsons and fresh prince was damn good too. Out of just these 3 the whole style is different, so how can you say that one of them is generally the best at being a sitcom than the others?

LOL.....Yo i hate TV to be quite honest and back when i really exerted energy into tha boobtube, i found that show to be the most entertaining....Seems to be tha same even today cuz tha shows they got on now are dry as hell and jus have really jus poor writing.....ITs obviously not everyone, but i always found it funny....tho back when tha show actually aired in the beginning, i thought it was really boaring - but thats cuz i never gave it a chance.

Its hard to top Seinfeld but I am really into the King of Queens. Its like watching the white version of me and my girl. She is smart and pretty and I am fat and dumb. A lot of the episodes hit close to home....funny sh*t man.
I work at night so I don't get to watch a lot of the prime time stuff, but I watch all that Adult Swim crap. If you ain't watch'n Venture Brothers yet....you are missing out.

Anyway, what makes Seinfeld so great, is his cleaverness. It took bits of life and exagerated. And the characters were so greatly played, that it felt like they were all like that in real life, that's why the 3 other actors had hard time having other job (eventhoug they were making 500 000$ + per show, so they mabye didn't need another job lol) because their Seinfeld characters stuck to them.
And I'm glad NO one put FRIENDS, cuz this show is nothing, NOTHING close to Seinfeld.

Also, since you guys are mentioning the Simpsons a lot, I'll have to agree with that. Classic material, can't go wrong with Homer and his amazing acting.
But you're all forgeting.... Family Guy! I can't wait for the new season to come, all I know is that they're working on it.
