what up illmuzik heads, this be mark of the beatz from jerz, i was feelin the site so i was like let me get down. my set up is made up of a mpc2000xl, jv880, yamaha 01v, running to cubase sx, turntable with mixer and like 30 crates. i dont know yet how i can join that beat battle but i read that you gotta have 40 post so youll be catching me in there soon.

i use a 2kxl aswell.

i also have a dj set up..............not 30 crates though!!!!!! jees man that is a shit load of wax. fuck i wish i had that much. is it all hiphop or is alot of it used as sampling material?

as well as having 40 posts to enter the Beat This competition you must also post a beat in the Showcase section. note that its not chill to go round making 40 pointless posts so you have enough in time to enter. not saying you would do that but many have.....and its not acceptable.

anyway i look forward to seeing you round and hearing your work

thanks for the warm welcome. about the 40 posts..its no problem. how would i go about posting one of my beats?? do i upload or do i need to have like a soundclick account. ohh and about the crates only like 5 is hip hop, the rest is all sampling material. i havent even gotten the chance to listen to everything, probably like 20% of it, alot of diamonds in the rough.
