My name is Synthaz,I reside in Fort Wayne,In.Not a know place, but I hope to change that soon.
I've been making beats since June of '07.While not being the best,I'm learning nonetheless. My program of choice is Fruity Loops.Easy to use,and user-friendly.I've been recommended to use programs like Reason. But because of FL's simplicity,I don't think I'll be changing anytime soon.
My style of beat in mind is those mesmerizing type beats that you hear from producers like Kanye West and J.Dilla.I used to make Crunk styled beats when I started out.Only because they're of course simple to make.Throw a crunk synth,a hi hat,808 drums and snares and BAM!You got a masterpiece LOL.But crunk as become more sophisticated somewhat since I started,so now its just more than that(Way to go ATL/Memphis!).I still do create them, but I make sure they have some individuality to them before releasing.
Well,my grandfather is retiring the 29th of this month. And he's investing 5-10k for my equipment.Right now it's just FL Fruity Loops edition and the keys and mouse. After I'm 18 I'm on my own.
So hopefully I can learn a lot from IllMuzik. As it has been mentioned in a magazine called "Vibe".
