i currently have an STaudio DSP2000 audio card via pci. 8 1/4 inputs, 2xlr inputs, optical/coaxial inputs, phantom power. about the same amount of outputs. about$175 on e-bay

ive been having a problem with my audio, kracklin, fuzzyness, buzzing, in and out, sometimes alot sometimes not at all. so i was thinking about replacing my audio card......

so..... what audio interface/cards do you guys use? how many inputs do you have and what kind? is it firewire or pci? what was the price, and do you like your current card? whats hot!!! and whats junk!!!!
so c'mon and let a hardware head really know what going on!!!!

i need a stable system with the lowest latency possible, id hate to have ta replace my motherboard and card. these problems pop up unexpectedly, i wish i knew more so i could sniff out my problem, but thats a different thread!! --------------->https://www.illmuzik.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20620

Playin' For Keeps

I bought my first soundcard about 6-7 months ago as i had just ordered my first pair of monitors being the '' M-Audio BX8a's '' and i was in need of the RCA ins/outs for connecting my mixer/turntable to the computer so that i could have everything setup.

The soundcard i picked up was the '' M-Audio 2496 '' which came out around £50/$100 so it was quite cheap, but it got everything working so it's not to bad.
