I'm actually working with Dynamic Producer and their other projects, And we use phpnuke all the time. From my experience, its a bitch to install, but once its up its a very well organized content management system. Fade seems to know a bit about phpnuke, and php in general.

Personally, I'd go with joomla, www.joomla.org
its more on the professional side though. But its a nice CMS as well.
