How y'all doing, I am trying to do a (re)mix tape, using my beats - But the thing is my present method takes me a day or two sometimes three to mix down a vocal and presently I am using Acid 4.0 to do this. So i's a wondering is there an easier method\software I should consider, any helps or instructions are appreciated.

i'm not sure on the question here either...but i pretty much use acid 4 to do all my stuff...i found that its best to have ur tempos match which is pretty obvious, but i've done tracks where the tempos are way off and i was cutting and pasting clips for hours. mastering is always key as well. make sure ur vocal levels are up, its easier to turn the volume down and eq down than it is to try and up the gain on some low level recorded vocals...

I also spend hours beat matching the vocals, and basically I reduce the vocals bpm by o.ooo1 intervals until it matches the beat, but thats tiresome and was wondering if theres anotherh way or i just got to stick with the way I am doing things right now
Thanks

u dont really have to go by such a low interval. when i find the vocals breaking from the beat like that, i'll start going by intervals of .5 or so...theres no real need to go .0001, that'll drive u crazy...

thats when the beauty of the cut/paste/arrange of acid comes in. just feel the beat out, do a snip/cut here and there to keep lacing the beat. usually when i'm putting lyrics on a beat and the tempos are few bpms off, i can drop the bpms a small amount and then just make like 3 or 4 small cuts and a few small moves here and there and everything works out pretty nice...
