using yur laptops keyboard as a midi controller

my boy just got an imac, and in garage abnd i was able to open up a virtual piano window which wa a model of the keys on the laptop,and and the keys represented the notes on a piano. so i could basically use the laptops keyboard as a midi controlelr. which i thought was mad sick. can u do this shit on a windows laptop with fl studio?

yea, you can do it with any pc in FL

Typing Keyboard to Piano ( Ctrl+T) - When turned on, you can use your typing keyboard to record notes as you would do with a real MIDI keyboard.
