As anybody else just had a Earthquake in their area? , damm that shit was weird. I thought it was the nearby train at first holding a large amount of load before it came and shuck the place up, it lasted about 10 seconds.

Guess it's just us up North then, as it was also felt in Birmingham about 10 minutes ago which came here a about 5 minutes after so thats around 60miles. It was an unexpected feeling to have seeing as we don't have them.

Maybe you will feel something soon, not to sure how they work other than them being plates... more as in the distance(s) they go to and how long one usually lasts before it fully stops.

lol, yeah , really, it looks like hes got some gear there too, Id be pissed...
This is why I was reeaally wanting EQ insurance for my house, there are NEVER quakes here (some in sc around 1.5 or 2.0 but only recently)
NOW we live 4 hours from one of the oldest mtn ranges in the states.
What IF( my favourite thought process) after 4 billion years there is a 5.4 or bigger quake(it wouldnt even take that really) around here..
Lots of people would be fucked (including me now), I didnt get it cuz they want alot of $$$
But thats fuckin slimey ass insurance companies... Ask anyone from new orleans who had flood insurance.

My workmates wife felt the bedshaking as she was still awake and she was scared and thought her grandmother who died 2 weeks ago was behind it. Like a poltergeist, my workmate never noticed it but he was downstairs watching telly. They are in Harlow, which is just North East of London. Im in London and didnt notice anything, but I think I was fast asleep by the time it happened.
