Very nice list of what's going on with sampling in 2021. It's good to see that it's so widely used, especially given all the technology and virtual instruments at our fingertips!

I found a few things interesting, like how sampling stuff from the 70's is still popular. But also, sampling 90's and 2000's stuff too. Which makes sense since that was the stuff the younger beat makers grew up on.

It's funny too, we'll see people sampling 90's songs which also contain samples.

Like, sampling Hip Hop from 2000 feels like you're sampling a track from yesterday.

Doesn't feel right to me.

If someone was sampling pop or some other genre but from 2000s all good.
