I always like to listen to other beatmakers. I visited almost everyone pages here.

I did research in the audio-video section of www.watch.impress.co.jp and i didn't found no articles, even in japanese.

I search the japanese website of yamaha and on 5 pages of result, it found nothing else than Motif Rack or Motif ES but no Motif Rack ES.

Maybe they did the product but something happened so they decide to leave the project and articles or photos are quasi-inexistant.

I thought the motif rack been out?... Could have sworn I seen it in sam ash. Matter of fact my man has a motif rack. No bullshit no lie. He bought a triton rack and motif rack. And controls it from his triton. He lives in denver now so I aint see em in person. But he sent me pics(which I don't have and can't post on here from my sidekick) of it in his studio.

we are talking about a motif es rack, the motif rack is out, but the es version i dont think is and probably never will

yamaha normally saves anouncements like this for the namm shows, for one. they release things early in japan all the time; they also keep things under tight wraps until its time for them...

anyhow, this looks real, because the guys at motifator- a few of them quite reliable- all seem to indicate that this is legit. it was showed at "synthesizer fest 2004" in japan, i believe.

sonic state is almost always verrry late on things.. they wouldnt have a video of the japanese show; besides, they only have videos if manufacturers make them. usually its a press release. harmony central is usually on top of these things, but again, this was a leaked picture from a japanese show, which they wouldnt have. yammy is a japanese company so it would make sense to give them the first peek. look out for namm in january, and word iskorg is workin on something too... but thats just rumor at this point..

If it's photoshopped, then they did a good job, because it even say ES on the rack, just as blurry as the remainder of the text on there.
Also, to my knowledge, isn't the ES just improved patches, polyphony and internal shit etc, so it could easily look the same externally as the normal rack...or am I mistaken?
