I would say that more and more will be automated. Select what you want in the beat and it's done.
The new sound will probably have a lot more beeps and boops in it lol.

I hear u Fade. I think the Productions we create will be a relic and foreign to the New Wave of Producers. It's crazy because who knows if Sample Laws get lifted in the near future. That alone would change the atmosphere and creation. Equipment alone from Midi Keyz to Maschine and VST Plug-Ins are advancing everyday. We def know it will be computerized but I feel the way we mix and sound design will shift dramatically. The bleeps and sci fi 2050 future odyssey sound is really not too far off. They'll be creating Tracks in Space making Beatz b 4 u know it

That's a good point about the sample laws. I wonder what they will be years from now. Maybe sampling will be completely dead?
