A Poem
SATAN’S PUPPETS
There are some who worship the devil,
Some who pray to other gods,
and the atheist and agnostic
Saying faith is just a facade.
There’s the man behind the pulpit
Preaching another way than Christ,
and people who believe
Their “good deeds” can suffice.
There is even the professing Christian,
Claiming to be God’s child;
But who then practices sin
Like it’s going out of style...
They all gamble with their souls,
Many lies they choose to believe;
For all along the evil one
Has them all deceived.
Like puppets on a string,
He puts them in his play;
Controlling their many actions,
Prompting them what to say.
Contrary to God's Word,
They believe that all is well;
As Satan, their puppet master,
Lures them into Hell.
Oh, how shocked they’ll be
On that day fate will bring,
As their master holds them over Hell
and sadistically cuts their strings.
They could have walked with Jesus,
The Truth, The Life, The Way,
But instead they performed for Satan;
Eternal death is their pay.
"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled
to those who are perishing, in whose case
the god of this world has blinded the minds of
the unbelieving, that they might not see the
light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,
who is the image of God."
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (NASB)
