The American Music Awards are on tonight and of course, I don't care

I never cared for award shows because it's just an award that is based on popularity and album sales. That's it.

I don't know or care about any of the ones performing or nominated tonight, but it just amazes me that people actually care about these shows. I swear they must pump raw cocaine out of the central air system because everyone there is SUPER HYPED ALL NIGHT. It's a truly amazing sight to see.

But the one thing I noticed is the performances is how everything is big, flashy lights and dancing. It's boring. Every performer does the same thing. 40 dancers behind them while they lip-sync and everyone loses their minds.

The other thing is the artists themselves going crazy about not winning, or worse, not even being nominated. Do they really care that much about this shit?

Anyway, just felt like venting.

P.S. I've only checked these shows in the past to see how ridiculous they are and get a good laugh.

About @Fade award shows they all are a circle jerk except for maybe the Black Music Honors (Youtube them). The AMAs were dope when Patti LaBelle and a lot of Black acts that could/can still sing (find the recent Verzuz w/Stephanie Mills vs. Chaka Khan) were killing it. Last time I cared was
