YES. This place I used to work at, I would sometimes wear my walkman while I was working night shift and this one idiot would always talk to me! I'd be real busy, swamped with work and he comes over and all I see is his lips moving, so I had to take off my headphones and be like "WHATTTT???".
But on the street is bad too. People asking me for the time or for directions. LOL. Damn, you'd figure wearing headphones people would realize that you can't hear them and YOU DON'T WANT to hear them!

Yo fade i feel you on that, i wear mine at school thats always when people wanna ask you what the teacher said....i be like im not even paying attention to the teacher lol......just cause i got on my headphones they wanna ask you what the teacher just said.....annoying indeed

And I thought I was the only. Man, people always ask me for the time and if the train goes in that or this direction when I wear my headphones and oddly enough, I'm left alone when I don't wear them...I'm sure it's a disease...

I'm the only black guy in my office and people don't want to talk to me when I have head phones on, they wanna know what I'm bumpin. I wear these cheap Sony MDR-CD280's and they are big as hell. They look like insect eyes. So naturallythey think I am playing something on the radio like Nelly but then they turn red when I let them listen and they hear Black Rob or Freddie Fox say "nigga" like four or five times in a row.
One time I went to lunch and came back to find a huge ruckus over at my desk. I guess the tech cut on my CD player and it started playing Carlos Mencia out loud. he was telling some joke about girls wearing short dresses. They were gonna try to make a big deal out of it but I had to flex on him for touching my stuff when I wasn't there. Six months later, they found a zip disk full of booty movies in his office and he got fired...

Yeah I used to get that when I work shift work. But now I get this when I'm in my car ridin' somewhere, people in tha car wayz want to run their month. I be turnin' tha music they talk louder I feel like sayin' shut tha f@*k up!!!....... But it seem like people don't love music tha way I do, when I listen to music I listen ain't no talkin' to me or around me!

That's my damn girlfriend right there. She always wanna run that jibber jabber when I have some phat shit blast'n. She always wants to talk and my music is always too loud. But don't let no Mary J Blige or Justin Timberlake pop up on the radio. She'll cut my volume up so loud, the amp drains the battery and makes my headlights dim to the beat.
People should have the courtesy to shut the trap while they are in the car with someone who has not cut the radio down. It's like a signal to them not to talk.
I think its funny to see their reaction when they talk loud over the beat and you don't cut the music down for them...comedy.
