Fugees - The Score

To me this album flipped things big time, it's when hip hop turned the corner from underground to mainstream.

It's also one of the last dope albums, something you could put in and listen to from beginning to end and enjoy the shit out of it, no filler, straight jams from the first to the last song.

I had someone from Sony hand me the promo double album two weeks before it came out and that shit just blew me and everyone I played it for away.

I don't think anyone in the media is gonna recognize this landmark, so I thought I'd throw it out and see what Illmuzik fam thinks about it.

Peace,
Jay

One of my favorite albums of all time. Clef had the beats on smash at the time. All on an MPC 2000

I was wandering what he used.. the samples had alot of "depth" to em..but i think thats more of the mixing... and reverb

i love/loved this album to death. the drums..the samples..the lyrics

man thanks for reminding me of how dope this is.

I grew up where clef and pras used to be around alot smoking..lol

even ran into em a few years ago at kings dominion...some wild guys.

loved this album....respect goes on.
