r they good professonial sound or do we have to EQ them ourself

Soundfont files can be high quality but you can also equ them yourself, a soundfont is in effect a sample so it is only as good as it was recorded...

Depends on the source... as D just said... I have plenty of very good Soundfonts and real crappy ones too... you just gotta find the good ones...
