That should work just fine Relic. The room is a small part of the equation when you're just recording vox! You already know that you need to gate the mic. You have a Preamp with a tube and eq. Everything else will come during the mix down. I think I'm going to order one of those joints myself! Should work real nice in a home studio environment.
