Any of you practicing this marketing strategy, and if so have you had any success or recognition (by whoever you were ‘typing,’ industry-insiders, etc.) through applying it..?
To me it feels like plagiarism, but perhaps I’m being too old-school. I just never thought of writing “à la [insert artist/producer here].” They do say, “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...”
Is this the modern-day beat-maker’s ‘entry-level position..?’
