@deanscott Nice job! I really like the sound selection on both songs. Only positive feedback from me on this one. I like how the instruments are processed. They almost sound Lo-fi in a way, but they all work with each other. I especially loved the vocals at 1:35 on "Don't Believe". Nice job man!
More boom bap for ya'll. Thanks in advance for all feedback.

Oh yeah man. Stupid me really shouldn't review beats on shitty loud speakers.@Kane the MOD Appreciate the feedback my friend. I think the low end on your output device might be low, because the bass line is pretty prominent on my speakers/headphones.
@hosie Thank you for the feedback brother. Yea man last week I didn't have enough time to give thoughtful feedback to all the work so I didn't bother posting. I'm looking forward to hearing your track this week, as well as everybody elses. Peace
Nice one @MR. MINESTATE I'll get a listen to these later on and get some feedback too.
I've been trying something a little different with this one. Trying to tame a big bright sample to allow J-Live's vocals to cut through but at the same time have them compliment each other. If anyone heard the original J-Live record it's quite funky and fast moving, I've tried to give it a more atmospheric vibe (opposite of what I normally do). I did something completely different with my drums too. I've essentially only got the one kick which actually allows for a sort of bounce where a second kick would normally be. Listened in the car earlier and I feel like I've over compressed slightly and lost a little dynamic. I've added a bit of analog filter to the vocals too and it sort of distorts at the start of the verse, there is some applause there too which makes it even more noticeable. I think I might remove the breakdowns / chat throughout the track, introduce my own chorus for 4-8 bars in between the verses to keep the vibe going throughout. All feedback and comments appreciated as always. Apologies for the dissertation on my own beat. Cheers!

Much appreciation for checking it out and providing feedback. This is very dope. Both beats are very good but I like the drums and the instrumentation a lot better on this one. Also nice job with the filtering and bringing in the samples.
Keep up the good work.
I banged this remix 4 years ago.
Old to me, new to you...sorta.
