Separate music parts of a track

How do i seperate a track in to vocal,drums,bass etc. If nt how can i take the voice only out of a track witout any dirt soundz in the background?

Cant once everything is took to one track all the frequencies bleed together. If you are just looking for the vocals I'd suggest searching for the accapella.

impossible, you will always have some noise in the background. it would take a hell of alot of EQing to drown out everthing except the part u need, and even then the quality would probably be too bad or distorted.

best thing to do is find the acapella as maddogg sed, and try and replay some of the instruments instead of directly sampling.

^yep...he's right...I've done it...but only w/ a few select tracks...and still only some parts come out clean....

like old stereo songs were they used to put vocals on the left and music on the right. these are easy to clean but the rest is practicly impossible

^ even those are hard because alot of times the reverb was placed on the same side as the music...and reverb is almost impossible to filter...

This question seems to be popular... I wish I could have stock in the person who invents the perfect filter for this problem
