I was using my new midi controller with some NI instruments and came across something. The controller I use is http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_u...en49-main.html

And when I loaded up the B4 organ and hit the the "-" and "+" buttons patches were changing...like i could scroll through the patches in B4 with these buttons. I opened massive and other NI instruments such ass battery 3 and fm8 and when hitting those buttons i had no luck in scrolling through these patches

I was wondering if anybody with some knowledge on this provide me with some information or point me in the right direction on how i could set this up on my keyboard so it can work how it was in B4.

Im sequencing these vsts through my mpc along with my keyboard controller that is some ways away from my desk and its much easier and more organic feeling when creating music to scroll through the patches on the keyboard instead of running back to my desk to switch sounds. Any help is much appreciated

Thanks in Advance

Either its supported by the plug or not, the better oems do add this midi parameter cuz its basicaly a standard function but i believe a lot of plugs sound nice but lack those functions. I dont use a lot of vsts but the ones i use work the same way, dial from the masterboard or from the mpc.

as far as massive and the fm8 plug ins some rep from native instruments helped me figure it out...you can make program banks with up to 128 sounds per bank, this enables you to switch using a midi controller or the actual mpc.

Im still trying to figure out battery though

if anybody else is trying to do this without using there mouse everytime to change a sound for these particular vsti's.....look up "program list" in the pdf manuals or for massive pg 91
