i'm rewiring my setup so that when i hit a pad on the mpc..it plays out of my monitors as well respond in sonar4. currently i have the mpc out and into my mixer which is running out into my soundcard. tried to run out to my amp, but i dont get any sound out of my monitors, how the mixer and sonar4 responds fine when hittin a sound on the mpc. i have two dj mixers(on 2 channel, and a ol' 5 channel dj mixer) if i should including those in the setup somewhere. any suggestions would be appreciated. here are pic of mixer and soundcard i have. One way to do it just using your VM3100:

Send your output (or monitor out) to your amps. Send Aux 1/2 to your soundcard. On the VM3100, Aux 1/2 might be your headphone out, but I'm not sure. But now you can have your computer come back into the mixer and only the selected channels that have Aux 1/2 turned up will go to your soundcard, and you won't get any feedback loop. But MAKE SURE you don't turn up Aux 1/2 on the channel that your computer comes back into, or you'll be sending it to itself, creating another feedback loop.

To include your other mixers:

Send your computer output to channel 1 in your 2-ch mixer (all you need is 2 channels). Send your VM3100 "Monitor out L/R" to the other channel. Now send your Stereo Bus L/R out to your soundcard.

Now if you have a separate headphone out of the VM3100, that's a completely different way to do it without using another mixer. But only if you can assign and mute/unmute the actual channels that go to your headphone mix. If not, just use the auxes, and assign only your MPC channel out to the aux mix that goes to your soundcard.

Hope this helped.
