pitch shifting issue

this is probly gonna sound dumb to most of you heads but how do i raise the pitch in the pitch shifter in audition without changing the tempo of the song. I use the mad shifta and it does this well, but it makes the samples sound hollow. Somebody school me to this audition pitch shifter, thank you

go to effects tab and look for time/pitch and click on it. when the menu comes up hit stretch option and then a box will appear with this slide thing that will change your tempo. look to the lower left corner and click the option that says pitch shift( perserves tempo) and do what you do. hopr this helps. that kid
