I think there could´ve been threads about this(sorry if there´ve been) but I´m makin new one.

I think that my beats could be aight but my drums are almost allways too wack. I think it´s about sounds or something. I´ve tried some kinda layerin, compression etc...but I just can´t make em kick like they should. I´m usin Fruity & CE. I would appreciate if somebody could help me with this problem.

What should I try? What I´m propably doin wrong?

Compression and EQ, do a search....Waves Gold or platinum audio processors, L1 ultramaximizer...if you want to go the soft route.....start with good samples and maybe precompressed kicks....equ the snare until you get the sound you want....take notes on your settings and experiment....make some patterns with the kick and and snare....record it, analyze it.....then duplicate your steps to getting the right sound

It Prolly Has Alot To Do With The Samples R Using In The First Place .. Try Sampling Drums Or Investing In Some Quality Some Nice Kits.. Preset Drums R Doo Doo And Very Hard To Get To Sound Right Even With Comp And Eq .. My 2 Cents

In addition to what the other brothers said, make sure you have some good monitors or headphones so you can hear pretty accurately. Also if your soundcard supports it always record at 24 Bit - 44.1Khz, at least don't go any lower. Keep practicing with your craft and if you like post some of your music in the audio section of this forum so we can possibly hear what your talking about and provide some tips.

24-Bit is definitely NOT NECESSARY for hip hop OR banging drums. EQ & Compression will really surprise you when you start fucking with the knobs and sliders..
good luck
