I met this cat in Toronto about 3 weeks ago when I went home to see family. Jermaine Dupri threw an industry party promoting his new album and his new artists he signed to So So Def/Virgin. There were some pretty hot artists. T Waters was hot, cool guy too. But this one cat Sunny was the truth. Now y'all are gonna listen to the track and think regular gangster rap maybe, but you gotta feel the emotion in his delivery.
When he performed the track for us in Toronto, he had to stop half way through the track to shed a tear. That shit aint no act, this dude is speaking real talk, and I can appreciate any artist who is really passionate about his or her music like that. I think he's got a bright (no pun intended) future ahead of him.
