the al east and wild card positions all come down to this weekend. which marks the beginning of a new and beautiful hateship between red sox and yankee fans. notice i will always put the red sox first in a sentence i nwhich im talking about both the red sox and yankees. thats because the red sox are better. but on a serious note, im ready for sum good fuckin baseball this weekend. for anyone that dont follow baseball the post season is a mixture of going to work/school hung over and half asleep, going out every night, and emotional rollercoasters.but we wouldnt have it any other way. i just wanna take this time to honor an old comrad

- we landed on the moon
-radio and tv were invented
-Flagpoles were erected on the Fenway Park roof to hold all of the team's future
World Series pennants. They have since rusted and been taken down.
-Prohibition was created and repealed
-15 presidents were elected.
-Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Oklahoma, and New Mexico were admitted to the Union.
-women got the right to vote
-George Burns celebrated his 20th, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th, and
100th birthdays.
-world war I, world war II, korea, vietnam, the 2 gulf wars
-the rise and fall of communism
-we invaded Afgahnistan
-Roger maris' Home Run record was broken by Mark Maguire
-Mark Maguire's Home Run record was broke by Barry Bonds

I'm a Sox fan, but to tell you the truth, I only pay more attention to them when they're in the playoffs. It's just too many games to watch and keep track. That's just me though. Thank god it's football season.

Also, I hate seeing DIEHARD baseball fans especially when I go to New York and they ask me where I'm from. I tell them I'm from Boston and they'll be like, FUCK RED SOX! And I'm like... what does that have to do with me? Then I forgot I had a Red Sox's cap on cuz I was on enemy ground. I can't believe how so many people look at me with a "You better get your ass outta here" look.
