It's an easy thing to do in Reason or any other DAW. In Reason the best way to do it is to use the Spider Audio Merger Spitter to basically duplicate your drum track so you can then run the split signal to two separate channels. All your drums have to be coming from one device whether it's the ReDrum, NN-XT or Dr. Rex.

Once you have the track split you'll only be applying the technique to one channel! One side from the splitter will go str8 to reMIX (mixer in side reason) and the other side will go to the compressor and Eq and then to another channel on the reMIX.

Check here for settings, some wont' apply to you because you're using Reason but the settings for the compressor and Eq should be the same.
