Ominous, i could see and feel the idea you were going for but I think the mixing kind of held it back. Mixing is the other half of a dope beat, and Beatz 101s is an example of that. good job to both of you though

Congrats 101.

I already knew what was up when I saw the brackets. 101 is a vet. The beat I submitted was from another forum where they give you a kit to make a beat from and I just used that. Had I had known I was up against 101 I would have submitted something else.

Great comp so far. Be interesting to see who wins it all.

With these battles you gotta come out wit ya battle axe swingin' cuz u dont know who u gonna get paired up with, and the kats u expect to be in the battle and on some weak shit, coulda been in the lab extra hard cookin' up some death blow type beats.
