Okay... I am currently driving a wack ass 1991 pontiac sunbird(gotta have the rims on it, lol) and I have just found someone selling a 1993 thunderbird and I want it bad! But my dilemma is, I am also currently stuck with working on my computer and fruity loops by itself. I only have the money to upgrade one of the other because I am about to move and start paying rent, what should I do??
I would say, keep your computer and fruity loops and just buy some gear to complement your computer for production... That way it's a win win situation...
Yo I'm in the same perdicament, but I will be getting a car. I'll also be saving for a mixer, some monitors, and a synth rack. Im gonna be gettin a mustang, but i got 2 jobs that both pay cash so i dont got to worry about the democrats takin my money and giving it to old people. My adive, BE A CADDIE, thats one of my jobs and it GOOD ASS MONEY!!!
Get the car, man. I think you'll be happier with it in the long run. There's nothing wrong with just having FL. Get the car and then save up for a midi controller.
get the car sell your old car and boom you got a good car and you got money for your production, but unless your trading you old car in for the new one, just stick wit fl
A car is a liabilty...everyone knows the depreciation thing with cars but besides that once u get a car all it does is take more money out of your pocket for gas, repairs, etc. So if ur old shyt is still pushin i would hold on to it and get some upgrades for ur production setup which can possibly make u money in the long run

I HAD A G RECENTLY TO EITHER GET A MOTIF RACK OR PUT A DOWNPAYMENT ON A WHIP, GOT THE MOTIF, I DRIVE A SHIT BOX, I WILL DRIVE IT INTO THE GROUND, BY THAT TIME ILL HAVE MONEY TO PUT A DOWN PAYMENT ON ANOTHER CAR
The gear, if youre nice, is an investment which will pay itself off. The whip will just slowly deteriorate over time, and youll be shit out of luck again, posting the same thread again.
I have to say if you have a car and it's runnin, keep it. Get more gear if you need it. The possible money and all that from your beats, if your beats are tight, will allow you to buy a new whip and if you hit it big, a brand new whip you actually want and you can pay cash for it instead of wasting your ends on interest payments and shit like that. I running car is all you need for now. Better things will be coming to you in the future if you pour your heart and soul into your passion. Sooner or later. Peace!

i don't think il be gettin any new gear for a while, im in a similar situation as the original question. im takin my actual test soon n hopefully il pass n start lookin around for a car, itl hav to be real shitty tho.
i'd say go with the car, i think you will get more out of it now.you can always save up later for somethin to compliment FL.
