Whazzup ILLMUZIK FAM,

I'm the new kid on the block and i go by Moe Black. I hope I'm making my intro to the fam in the right place. I'm basically a new producer, with a musical background but not much experience with doing beats and working with the different equipment used to make beats. I played in marching band in middle school and high school and i also played with a local band in my community. I have a Triton and a MPC2000XL and i'm still trying to figure out how to make them work together. I want the MPC as my sequencer/master and Triton as the slave, but right now i can't figure out how to make there relationship work. I have midi cables and a UB802 mixer, need to know how to incorporate this into my setup also so that i can have everything coming through my monitors. I have read the manuals, but i still can't get an understanding on making things click. It's like the manuals are written in a language i don't understand. I think once i can figure out the things mentioned above, i'll be able to contribute something to ILLMUZIK and become one of Hip-Hop's Finest. Does anyone here have any tips? PLEASE HELP! I'm tired of working my day job! Lol!!! Moe Black....

Hey man! Know the first thing I would do is hold onto those band connects at the school and get a good mic and get ready to sample some drummers, but thats just my fantasy..lol..
Good to have you aboard! Type what you would like to know in the "search" option at the top of the screen, read the rules, and come on in the house!
