Im working on a mixtape right now of some local artist. Most of the material is just rought mixed and is not "EQ-Cued". Most of the tracks are close in mix quality but some are differnt. what is the best way to normalize the mixtape in Adobe Audition? Right now i have the songs mixed in two diffent tracks. Track One is "Deck 1", And Track 2 is "Deck 2". Ive add an dynamics Proc. effect on both tracks with the "Limit Soft -6 w/boost" Anyone else have any ideals on the best way to do this. Im trying to stop high end peak that i hear on lower quality speakers. Thanks.

You could bounce all the tracks down to 1, then put an EQ on it to cut those highs (be careful) then I would put a limiter on it so all tracks are peaking at the same place.

If you want more control you could EQ each individual track. (more time consuming but the best way IMO), then bounce it down to 1 and add the limiter.

You might want to bring the initial levels of some of the tracks down so you have headroom for the EQ.

Good luck with the Mix Tape, I hope it goes well :)
