micro korg bass sounds

anyone know where i can find them, or any good bass? i dont have guitar and i dont like the bass in FL

u could prolly find the micro korg bass sounds in the micro korg ... thats where i would look first :lol: :lol:


naw but seriously those are going pretty cheap on ebay right now u could prolly score one for $250 or so

Track down the Tritium Bass VST plugin. makes some good basses, especially when you pair it with the Prosoniq Northpole filter.

BTW, both plugins are freebies.

I have Triton and it is a good place to start, but to be honest having something Analog or even live Bass sounds much better. So if you are going to drop the money drop it on the MicroKorg, because Triton is good but a lot of its sounds aren't that great, but you can make your own.

i have a novation bassstation keyboard and a jp-8000, not to mention whatever else.
but i was looking at the micro korg a while back. i noticed that for an older peice these things have pretty much kept their value up. if you can get one for under $250 thats a good deal for sure.

If you're dead set on having a hardware piece, look into the Waldorf Pulse or Microwave/Microwave XT, Peavey Spectrum Bass II and/or Spectrum Synth, Novation SuperBassStation, Roland Juno 106, Sequential Multi-Trak, or Yamaha TX81Z.


You WILL need to learn to program basses. Here's a few sites that'll give you some good pointers on programming analog basses from scratch (the principals can also be used with romplers)

Get yourself a modular synth-- like Reaktor. You'll learn a lot about making your own sounds by using it, and once you know how to use it-- you'll have more power to make new sounds, instead of relying on samples.
