Doese anyone master their tracks before putting down the vocals, and then master again?

No.
I never do that. Cuz the track aint finished until after the vocals are down and all that is mixed. I might come up with an idea for the beat once the MC shows up. And then id have to re-do all the shit i just mastered all over again. So i usually wait until the very very end. After the track has been mixed, and that i know i dont wanna change anything.

I would wait until everything is done because once you start to master there is no coming back.
