Aight, I bought a new soundcard.. A Emu 1212 m...

I was pretty used to the one i had and was pretty comfortable with the way my mixes my sounded..

Now i bought this EMU Soundcard and boooyyy!! does it sound better!

Or better, actually i hear more mistakes i made while mixing, but it gives you far more detail.. the sound is quite clinic, but i love the way it gives me insight while mixing and EQing my kicks..

With this soundcard i found out that working with my previous card, my kicks weren't pumping as hard as they supposed and i didn't have as much space in mix..

Now i got more detail, more headroom and much less latency..

I thought I'd share this with you, for anyone who is considering to buy a new soundcard in the near future..

No in the box, i don't have any hardware, my setup is this..

Pentium III 3.2 Ghz, 1 gig RAM ,Emu 1212m, Alesis MK1 Active 2 Monitors, MPD24, and a simple midi keyboard..

Software: Cubase SX 3, Battery 3 Ableton Live 6, FL 7, Recycle, Soundforge 8.0

Works for me.. And yeah I use it all, but not all at the same time!

I use Cubase SX 3 with Battery 3 for drums and FL 7 as my sampler, sometimes i use a little effects from Live..

And all my house productions are made in house!

Hope this helps you guys!
