Well basically it's because when it comes to Hip Hop, a lot of the music isn't even true anymore. It's crossed over into Pop and other genres, so the Rap music that we all hear is just watered down. It's been like that for years though where artists have had to travel to foreign countries to make money because they have a solid and loyal following, unlike over here.
