Its all about how bad you want it, thats what all the BS tasks are for. They want to see what your willing to do, and how your attitude/work ethic is while your doing something you dont like. As long as what they have you doing is legal and honest work, go for it, not too many people get the opportunity.

You'll definitely be nothing more than a "do boy" for a long while. I interned at La Face and Organized Noize when I was in school. It's a reason behind it all though. If you can't pay enough attention to get somebody's burger right and back on time how can they trust you getting an artist, music, promotional material etc. to where it needs to be?

And if you are a producer don't even try to push your material there way. Get in a position where you're running recording sessions or something of that nature and get cool with some of the artists. If they have friends or family members trying to do music push your music on them for demo purposes. That demo may catch the ear of somebody at the label and when they ask who is the producer that'll be your way in. But to be honest...don't look for anything but the experience of the business side of things. And be one damn good phone answer...write down every freakin' detail. I can't tell u how many times I got my ass chew'd for not putting down the little shit.
