don't assume that they came from pakistan or they were funded and trained there, leave that to indian officials , who whether they're right or wrong, need to limit the amount of political blowback and calls of incompetence from the populace for their inability to handle the attacks, despite hints and info of mumbai.
neither countries, like all of 'em, can be trusted for truth and transparency, especially when blame and denials come so easy for true enemies. and , because of the deaths of foriegners, the tension and potential to go to yet another war will be present once again.
to make matters worse, the same tactics used during 9/11 by so-called experts are being used again. 'well planned attack', 'could only be carried out with help/training from outside country', etc. these 'revelations' are used to convey that local terrorist groups couldn't manage to come up with a plan, no, it would take a state sponsored entity or special ops to train such people on how to do anything that wasn't haphazard. see they had almonds, it proves they planned for the long run ergo, outside guidance. now add that the only one caught alive is allegedly from pakistan (therefore it must be a pakistani plot). add in the unconfirmed statement from an official, that was never verified from the intelligence agencies, that the terrorist were in constant communications with outside forces, you've got a good rumour/conspiracy. of course, that last one speaks volumes, because if true, then it really shows the people of india how inept the various agencies and military were if they couldn't somehow shutdown communications or at very the least, trace, monitor and record these alleged communications, but i'm just sayin'.
despite the recent agreement between pakistan and india to jointly fight and co-operate in fighting terrorism very recently, it's possible, that certain elements within either countries gov/agencies/entities, more likely pakistan due to some having more to lose, could be neck deep in this shit. even more likely, a group or groups, fearing that coalition and hence the increased danger on another front, again could be based in pakistan but not in any way connected to the gov or agencies. or just another home based terror group that didn't get caught prior.
either way, welcome once again to the fog of war
