Read the reference material and learn to form all these chords using the indicated tones of a major scale.
1. Major triad ( 1st , 3rd , 5th )
2. Minor triad ( 1st , b3rd , 5th )
3. Augemented ( 1st , 3rd , #5th )
4. Suspended 4th ( 1st , 4th , 5th )
5. Major 7th ( 1st , 3rd , 5th , 7th )
6. Minor 7th ( 1st , b3rd , 5th , b7th )
7. Dominant 7th ( 1st , 3rd , 5th , b7th )
8. Half diminished 7th ( 1st , b3rd , b5th , b7th )

If you have come this far, you should technically be able to construct most of the chords played in western music. So if i wanted a Ebm7, you could work it out easily We are already getting somewhere.
Ps. Keeping praticing those scales. First tackle the major scales and have those memorized like the back of your head. This might take sometime, but it's one of those things you will constantly do on the side while you tackle the other lessons. Memorizing them helps alot! Most especially in figuring out chords and if you pratice playing them, it improves your finger dexterity on the keys.
