Ill Glossary...

I just read a thread on a plugin I didn't know about... and that happened a lot since I'm here. I think a lot of cats here know a whole lot about effects and generators...

If someone could find a website where most of those are explained, that would be nice...

Lets start with the basics... (I know a couple of them, but not all of them)

- EQ
- Hard Limiter
- Compressor
- MultiBand Compressor
- Gate Limiter
- Noise Gate
- Granulizer
- Time Stretch
- Pitch Shift
- LFO
- Cutoff
- Pan
- dynamic/condenser/cardioid/unidirectional/Lavalier Mics
- chorus (or modulators)
- distorsion
- flanger or phaser
- reverb
....

If there are other usefull effects (the ones that are commonly used) that could be added, feel free... the more, the better!!!

yea that's why i like this site so much, it's not just a forum there's a lot of useful info on the main page.

Having one specially for the effects... or having some separations between different topics would be better...

For instance, I didn't know there was an effect that could cut the reverb...

If you want, I can do the research and find all those, but I'm sure it would be better if someone more knowledgable on those topic (cough wings cough cough) would do it...
