had a chance to put together a nice rig, a monster compared to the one I used to have, which crapped out on me a long time ago. LSS, here's my specs
Intel Core i5 @ 3.50GHz
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 816MHz (10-10-10-27)
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z97-A (SOCKET 1150)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (ASUStek Computer Inc)
465GB Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500G (SSD)
1863GB Seagate ST2000DX001-1CM164 (hybrid)
1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-1CH164 (hybrid)
So my old PC died and life just changed enough to allow a new one so I got these components but I think in my haste to get back on the beats I built it in a less than desirable array.
maybe I should stripe the hybrids or something. I just got a 3TB hdd I could use for storage...
idk, if I rebuild this pc and start over again will the ssd bounce back like an hdd or will it suffer from all the writing? do I just delete the files or format them or leave them alone?
it's running and it's stable so I don't want to introduce problems with an unneeded teardown, but I seriously can't ignore the possibility that I rushed and wasted my components on an inferior set up compared to their potential.
Any help?
thanks in advance fellas
