there is an idea here, im not a big fan of the drums and i think making a stronger baseline yourself would set it off, also the bass sort of sounds like theres some harmonics out of tune a bit

Thanks dude, I got some similar feedback on Reddit too so I just took it down to rework (or just to apply to the next one). I think I tried to make the OG bass into something it wasn't and I probably should have tried to recreate.
