im not sure how sweetwater is , but my boy use to work for guitar center , and them mother fuckers make peanuts, they make 6 bucks an hour plus commision, but u only get commision if u sell like up to 20 gs in gear by a certain time frame. this dood was an army vet and a student at the art institiute too. makin 6 bucks an hour, a shame.

no, its nothing like guitar center. And the money is very good. My interview was from 9-4 and they gave me IQ, Personality and Technical aptitude tests. They get 1000 resumes/applicants a week and out of those only 10 get called back and out of those 10 only 2 pass the phone interview. I actually have to take 3 months of training (sweetwater university) before I can even start working. They really are a top notch company, I am very excited. They work with some amazing artists. Trust me I would not move my family across the country for 6 bucks an hour, I have made well over that for many years now.
In fact not to diss your boy, but one of the sweetwater guys went in to guitar center and they said to him "Wow you work at sweetwater, I applied and they would not even give me a job in shipping"
