I have a alot of different drum sounds and I want to create my own kits using the NN-XT sampler and routing the individual sounds to the mixer for processing.I want a different drum sound stretch across my 49-key controller. How do I do this so that they stay in one pitch and not different pitches? Im completely lost with this can someone please give me some step-by-step instructions on doing this.

Peace

Well you can only do 8 tracks total seperate.

1: Highlight the sample you want to route.
2: Right above the Amp Envelope section you will see a knob called "Out" (pretty simple right?)
3: Change the 1-2 to the desered output 3-4.5-6.7-8 and so on...
4: Hit Tab!
5: Route the cables of the output you selected to the mixer track of your choice.

Taaaada!!

Well you can adjust the "Amp ENVELOPE Release knob to 200.16s like so for each sample:

If you are trying to have the NNXT play the sample out with one hit but cut off once you hit another sample.... you let ME! know when you get that one figured out.

I tried that, but if you change the polyphony for one smaple, it will change it for all. Thanks thogh.
myabe you misunderstood..

like lets say i have a big808 kick and a snare. i want to the 808 to cancel out the 808 everytime i hit it, but i don't want the snare to cancel out the 808.

i could create two nnxts for this and do the 808 on one, and the snare on the other, but thats just stupid lol.
