How do I replicate this exact oldish radio effect?

Just EQ should be fine.
Yeah just take out the low end, that should be it. Whatever EQ plugin you have, there might even be an "old timey radio" preset.

Download Izotope's free Vinyl. Slap the date dial to like 1960 or whatever. That dusties it up a bit.

But otherwise you can largely create this effect by EQing out a lot of lows, maybe a bit of the highs, and boosting the mid-highs in a weird way.

Like Fade said, usually some EQ preset called "radio" or "old radio" or some shit usually a good start.

Shit, I forgot about that Vinyl plugin! I haven't used it in ages.
