How do i record from my mixer to my computer?

Whats up everyone. I have a mixer and want to transfer some acapellas from some records on file. Its not a usb mixer so im not sure how. I tried using a Aux Chord but it dont work. Can anyone help me out?

Plug its output into the line in of your computer (blue 3.5 mm input), preferably in your sound card or audio interface, as integrated audio hardware tends to add noise. Use adapters if necessary.

You can also send the direct output from the channel of the vocals right into your sound card on the computer.
Just make sure what ever DAW you are using that you have your input selected

Its crazy. I've always seen that plug in the back of pc's and never used it. I didnt know I was one plug away from connecting my mixer. Makes me want to slap myself for not knowing this.
