i really need help with this one, when i sample a song i cant find the song's tempo. so i cant sync it with my DAW and i can't put drums on it. i know this is a really stupid question but how can i fix that ?

i don't know why but this problem doesn't always happen...

fl studio has an option like that too, but even though i find the tempo, i can't sync the sample with my tempo
In FL, use the Fit setting; select "Fit 2 bars", "Fit 2 beats", or whatever you want it to be. It's now synced. Then it's not only set to the tempo, but locked to the grid so it auto adjusts if you change the tempo of your project. You can also adjust the setting so it either maintains its original pitch, or pitches up or down with the time adjustment,

EDIT: Never mind, I asked a stupid question lol. See the comment above.

If I'm Ripping Loops I Usually Set A Tempo With A Basic Kick (1&3) Snare(2&4) Drum Loop Then Drag The Bpm Up Or Down 'Till It Sits. I Can't See There Being A Basic Rule Of Thumb For This I've Found Some Awesome Loops Which Are Impossible To Sample They Be My White Whale (Moby Dick Reference)

Haha. Yeah. Nothing worse than a dope sample that changes time after the 2nd of 4 bars.

songbpm.com, tap tempo, or if all else fails virtual dj has a free version and u can import songs in to there (it will display the bpm)
